LeashTracker — Privacy Policy

LeashTracker ("we", "us") is a household dog-walking tracker app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

Data we collect

• Account information — name and email address, used to create and secure your account.
• App activity — the walks, dogs, and household data you and your household members log. This is the core function of the app.
• Location (Plus only) — if you use the GPS-tracked walk distance feature, we collect your device's foreground location for the duration of that tracked walk, in order to calculate distance. This only happens while you have actively started a tracked walk and never in the background; the regular one-tap walk log never collects location.
• Purchase history — if you subscribe to LeashTracker Plus, our payment provider (Google Play Billing) and subscription management provider (RevenueCat) process and share purchase/subscription status with us so we can unlock Plus features.
• Advertising identifier — on the Free tier, we show ads via Google AdMob, which collects your device's advertising identifier to serve and measure ads.

We do not collect your photos, contacts, or any health/fitness data about you personally.

Third parties we share data with

• Google AdMob — serves ads to Free tier users (receives advertising identifier).
• RevenueCat and Google Play Billing — manage and process Plus subscriptions (receive purchase data).

We do not sell your data to anyone.

Advertising and consent

On the Free tier, ads are served by Google AdMob. Where required (for example in the EEA/UK), we show a consent form before any personalized ads are shown, using Google's User Messaging Platform - you can choose there whether to allow personalized ads. You can change this choice later from your device's own ad settings (Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads), which lets you reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized advertising entirely. Upgrading to Plus removes ads - and this data collection - entirely.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and app data for as long as your account exists. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, email info@dyniq.nl. We will act on deletion requests within 30 days.

Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

Children

LeashTracker is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
